Maybe you already know what your lead generation strategy is and why you need it in your business OR you’ve been working on it and going through the trial and error of figuring it out. Your lead generation strategy is going to evolve just as your content, your offers just like anything within your business. There is no better time to review your strategies.
Lead generation is the process of attracting leads to your business with the intention of nurturing them to convert into a sale, there is also the opportunity to attract leads to your business for collaboration and enhance visibility for your business. The strategy is what kind of process you will use to attract the leads or people to your business. It’s important to have a process in place so that you are attracting the kind of people you want in your community, you feel comfortable and confident in conversations and understanding the results you are desiring and how to tweak it when you know it’s not working.
So I want you to dive into each platform that you bring leads in on, this can be Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, Email marketing, Pinterest, your website. With each platform I want you to analyze how you are connecting with/finding people. Analyzing can look like looking at your keywords you use to search with, content that you’re putting out, contact forms that you’re using to collect information. What process does that person go through to build a relationship with you and eventually buy or fit into your business elsewhere.
Knowing and understanding your lead generation strategy can be a tough reality check for you but it’s so necessary to grow in your business. We need to check in with ourselves and the tasks that we’re doing within our business. If you keep doing the things you think you “should” be doing for lead generation you are going to lose out on the enjoyment of connecting with people and creating those relationships.
