Wouldn’t it be nice to not spend so much time on social media?
Shocker You Can!!
Here are 5 ways that you can save time on social media yet still get leads and be productive
You’re not going to show up on every platform the same nor should you show up on every platform. You do not have time. Pick 1-3 and stick to them! Your purpose could be that on Facebook on your personal profile it is going to be full of our personal life with some business related items. The business related items should direct them to either your group or your business page. Then on Instagram you will show up with business posts (similar to what you’re posting on your business page) and showing your personality through reels and stories.
2. Know how long you are going to be on each platform and at which time of the day.
So you will need to decide how long you will be engaging and posting on each platform. I recommend 30-60 mins per platform. The time of the day is going to vary on when your audience is on that platform. For example: Instagram engagement is better early in the morning and Facebook engagement is better at night. This helps you work your schedule so you know when you want to be online.
3. Be prepared with your content so you don’t spend time scrolling calling it looking for inspiration.
If you’re content is not prepared and you think that you are going to hop on and just scroll for a little bit. You’re lying!! We have all been there and after 2 hours of you doing nothing with no inspiration and no post, you’re back to square one. So plan out your content with topics, this will help you stay on track and still be able to post with a purpose.
4. Turn off your notifications to EVERYTHING
Your notifications do not need to run your life. Picking up your phone after every ding is tiresome and annoying not only for yourself but for the people around you. You get to pick your schedule for when you are on social media so don’t let other people control it.
5. Schedule downtime where you can log off
This is the most important step! We all need a break, and no you don’t need to tell everyone that you’re logging off for the weekend or what not. JUST DO IT!! You will feel refreshed, energized and rejuvenated with a lot more creativity. This will allow you to show up as a better version of you online!
